Canada. As a child, Pat was involved in Wrestling and Boxing from
the ages of 10 to about 16 years old. He began his Martial Arts
training in 1984. He was originally introduced to Bushido-Kai
Karate by a friend of the family and then later went on to study
other Martial Art systems such as Aikido, Shotokan Karate, Shuri-Te
Karate and Ju-Jitsu. Pat began his Kenpo Training in around 1987
in an offshoot system of Ed Parker=s
American Kenpo Karate, called Tracy=s
Kenpo under the guidance of Master Ralph Chinnick (“Professional
Self-Defense Academy@)
and later went on to join and study with
AKenpo Karate Canada@
/
AWorld Kanzen Kenpo
Federation@
in 1991. It was here that Pat would begin studying another offshoot
of Ed Parker=s
American Kenpo Karate called Kanzen Kenpo under the guidance of Mr.
Jason E. Arnold (4TH Degree Black Belt). During these few years
from 1991 to 1997, Pat had the opportunity of also training in the
Ed Parker=s
American Kenpo Karate System. On August 27th, 1997 Pat
received his 1ST Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate from
Mr. Jason Arnold and Mr. Derek Morrison (3RD Degree Black Belt) of
who assisted in instructing him in Ed Parker American Kenpo Karate
System in around 1996. It should be noted that Mr. Robinson is the
only Certified Black Belt and Instructor under Jason E. Arnold to
date. During this time Mr. Robinson joined the Worldwide Kenpo
Karate Association, which is headed by Master Joe Palanzo (10TH
Degree Black Belt / Senior Master) in October of 1997.
With
his accumulated knowledge and experience, Mr. Robinson created
APhoenix Fighting Arts And

in September of 1997 and then opened his first commercial school /
dojo on November 1st, 1997 in London, Ontario, Canada.
In early 1998 Mr. Robinson left the
AWorldwide Kenpo Karate

Mr. Robinson had the honor of Testing for his 2ND Degree
Black Belt at
APhoenix Fighting Arts and
Concepts@
in front of Mr. Jason E. Arnold, Mr. Derek Morrison and world
renowned Kenpo Master, Mr. Frank Trejo Jr. (10TH Degree Black Belt
and personal student of the late great Edmund Kealoha Parker,
Founder and Senior Grand Master of American Kenpo Karate). Mr.
Robinson has had the opportunity of traveling to Pasadena,
California, U.S.A. to be instructed out of Mr. Frank Trejo Jr.=s
home and while in California he has had the privilege of training
at the Ed Parker Kenpo Karate School / Dojo in Pasadena, which is
still owned and operated by the Parker family and at Mr. Larry
Tatum’s (10TH Degree Black Belt / Senior Master) School / Dogo
also. Mr. Robinson has had the privilege of meeting and being in
many technical advisories with other well known Kenpo Masters and
Representatives such as Mrs. Leilani Parker (wife of the late great
Edmund Kealoha Parker), Mr. Ed Parker Jr. (son of the late great
Edmund Kealoha Parker), Mr. Richard
@Huk@
Planas (10TH Degree Black

On
the tournament circuit, Mr. Robinson has been a competitor,

taught literally hundreds of individuals and has raised money for
the Battered Women Advocacy Centre.

educational background includes attending H.B. Beal Technical
Institute (Art Major), Fanshawe College (Early Childhood Education)
and Westervelt College (Law Enforcement). He has also been a
supervisor at the Woodstock Day Nursery in Woodstock, Ontario and
has served as a volunteer at Victoria Hospital (London, Health
Sciences Centre) in the Out Patient Department and the Child Life
Department.
To
take a quick glance at him, you would think that he was just an
average street fighter, but do not be fooled by his appearance
before you bear witness to his ability. Mr. Robinson is an
exceptional Martial Arts Practitioner who is noted for his speed,
accuracy, devastating power and vast knowledge of what truly works
on today=s
street environment. Train with him and you=ll
see.
On a more
personal level, Pat enjoys horror and sci-fi movies, reading,
writing, drawing, dancing, music, drumming, and animals and has
a great love for children.
There have been many obstacles
throughout my life and there have been many great people to help me
along the way. To these individuals, I wish good fortune and good
will to them all. They are forever in my prayers. I will do my
best to use the teachings of the Martial Arts as a vehicle to help
those who are in need of guidance and also to help build the
character of those around me for the betterment of our community.
