Sifu David Hatch
1969  Began training in the art of Karate (American Karate, which stemmed from the Japanese Shito Ryu Style). Achieved 1st degree Black Belt in 1975 through Sensei Larry Malo.

1985  Began training in the arts of Jun Fan Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do (Wing Chun/Kickboxing/Grappling/French Savate) and the Filipino Arts with Guro Dan Inosanto, Sifu Larry Hartsell, and Professor Salem Assli.

1990  Entered Guro/Sifu Dan Inosanto's Instructor Program.

1992  Started training in Muay Thai Kickboxing with Ajarn Chai Sirisute.

1993  Entered Sifu Larry Hartsell's Jeet Kune Do Grappling Association Instructor Program.

1994  Began training in the Lameco Eskrima Program under the late Punong Guro Edgar Sulite; began training Wing Chun Kung-Fu with Sifu Francis Fong, and started training in Shoot Wrestling with Sensei Yori Nakumura/Dan Inosanto.

1995  Began one-on-one training in Balintawak Eskrima with Manong Ted Buot.

1996  Started training in Mande Muda Pencak Silat under the late Pak Herman Suwanda.

1997  Trained the National Guard troops on controlling techniques with the single stick.

As of March 2006, David has attained the following:

  • Full Instructor level in Jun Fan Gung-Fu/the Art of Jeet Kune Do
  • Full Instructor level in the Filipino Martial arts
  • Associate Instructor level in the Jeet Kune Do Grappling Association
  • MAHUSAY level in Lameco Eskrima
  • White Glove and Instructor level in French Savate
  • Advance Student level in Shoot Wrestling
  • Associate Instructor in Wing Chun Kung-Fu
  • Associate Instructor in Muay Thai Boxing (Kickboxing from Thailand)
  • Certified Instructor in Mande Muda Pencak Silat; also in the Jagabaya Program (Jagabaya level 4)
  • Intermediate level in Balintawak Eskrima (Anciong Bacon method)
  • Certified Level 1 instructor with the Minnesota Kali Group
  • Representative Instructor for Erik Paulson's Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW)
  • Certification as Guro level three in the Maphilando Silat & Madjapahit Martial Arts

Dave specializes in training physically handicapped people to adapt with their inherited capabilities.
