Sensei Albert Martin Attale. Born in Valencia Venezuela Started his Martial Arts career in 1974 with the “Japan Karate-Do Ryu-Bukai” under Chief Instructor Shihan Kiyoshi Yamazaki and Felipe Medina-Freeman Sensei Head Instructor, Rafael Mendoza Sensei National Director at the time. After relocating to the USA he studied Shorin-Ryu under Sensei Joyce Santa-Maria for two years and for the past twenty four years he is with the “American Federation of Martial Arts” under Hanshi Adolfo Ennever, practicing Shotokan Karate, In that time sensei Attale has attended many courses and seminars to expand his knowledge of the martial arts, skill including “Martial Arts Seminar” in Mexico under Shihan Mario Peña, Weapons, Philosophy & Acupressure, Pain Control and Combative measures under Professor Ronald Duncan (The father of American Ninjitsu) , “Do it Know” & The Spirit of the wining Warrior under Sensei Mike Stone , Mind control, Basic Kata & Aiki-Jujitsu Under Hanshi Ennever, Advance Kata With Hanshi Vicente Cruz (ISKA) Esgrima Sticks under Sijo Tom Gettling ( Listed in “Who’s Who in Martial Arts in the USA).

     Advance Kata & Kumite Under the late Shihan Lionel Warrell (SKI. Nishiyama Sensei Head Instrcutor) Basic Jujitsu with Shihan Robert Hernandez. And many others.

     Sensei Attale has represented A.F.M.A in Panama, Venezuela, Canada, Mexico and many US. Cities with great success, he’s still very active in the competition arena as a judge and competitor.

     Among his many influences in the martial arts world are T. Okazaki Sensei, H. Kanazawa Sensei, M. Nakayama Sensei, Dr. G .Kano Sensei, M.Ushiba Sensei, & Funakoshi Sensei.

     With a very busy schedule as the head of his own general contracting company he still dedicates much time to run his school, “Bay Shore Karate Center” in Bay Shore NY. Where he teaches Shotokan, Kobudo (Weapons) and teaches seminars in personal self defense & Kumite.

     With a degree in Civil Engineering (AAS) He considers martial arts, Shotokan in particular, his true passion.

     In Nov. 2001 He travel to his native Venezuela to Judge in The A.F.M.A International Tournament, at which time he was awarded the rank of 4th Dan (Yondan)

     In Nov. of 2002 he traveled to Panama for “The A.F.M.A. International Tournament” where he competed and judged.

     In Nov. 2003 He was honored with a “Silver life Achievement” and he was inducted in the “A.F.M.A Hall of Fame” recognizing his many years in the martial arts, at the same time he was promoted by Hanshi Ennever To the rank of Godan (5th Dan) and Title of Renshi, Sensei was also nominated to the “Black Belt Brotherhood of America” located in Florida for his commitment to the arts.
