Instructor
Steve Chan has been training in
martial arts since 1990, starting with the hand to hand combat
courses taught to him as a U.S. Marine. Since that time, he has
trained in various martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Aikido,
Escrima, Judo, Western Boxing, Fencing, Kenjitsu and Tai Chi.
Steve started training in WingTsun in
1996 under Sifu Mike Adams and has been teaching WingTsun since
2001. He continues his training with Sifu Mike Adams as well as
other sifus around the country. He also attends regular
seminars with Great Grandmaster Leung Ting.
 About Us
Chicago WingTsun is a member of the International WingTsun Association, North
American Section (IWTA-NAS) under Great Grandmaster Leung Ting.WingTsun is a classical martial art that is designed for self defense and combat
situations. It is a "no nonsense" system that is as applicable today as it has
been for the past 300 years.
At Chicago WingTsun, our goal is to teach an effective, classical Chinese
martial art in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Not only will you learn how to
defend yourself and get into great shape, you have fun doing it too!
Chicago WingTsun would like to invite you to come to our school and try WingTsun
for yourself! We are located in the northern Chicago suburb of Evanston at the
Extreme Kungfu/Wushu Training Center. Please contact us for class information!
