Basic Individual Certification Program

  • 6 hour training program
  • Must be at least 14 years of age
  • Program fee includes the following materials:
  • ISC Control Point Training Manual
  • ISC Control Point Poster
  • Certificate of completion
  • To maintain Basic Certification it must be renewed every 1-2 years.

 

 

Instructor’s Certification Program

  • This  certification will allow a select group of instructors to teach the ISC Control Point Basic Program.
  • ISC will provide certificates for those completing all programs
  • This training can only be provided by an Instructor / Trainer

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • All potential instructors must complete and submit an instructor’s application and agreement.
  • Be of good character
  • Basic Certification in ISC Control Points
  • Minimum 6 months since basic certification is obtained (Unless granted by special permission)
  • Instructor experience (Black or brown belt rank with minimum 1 year teaching experience)
  • 1 Day Instructor Training Program (6 hours)
  • Required to teach and explain  one control point.
  • Written test
  • Practical Test
  • Instructor’s certification must be renewed annually.  Under special circumstances  a temporary (extension) renewable certificate may be granted.
  • Instructor renewal is dependent upon attending an instructor training program.

Materials Needed:

  • ISC Control Point Training Manual (Can be purchased if need be)
  • ISC Control Point Poster (Can be purchased if need be)

Materials Provided:

  • Instructor’s Outline
  • Instructor Information Sheet
  • Upon successful completion an Instructor’s Certificate
  •  

Instructor Trainer Certification Program

  • This  certification will allow a select group of instructors to teach and certify the ISC Control Point Basic and Instructor Program.
  • ISC will provide certificates for those completing these programs

Requirements

  • Must be at least 30 years of age
  • Be of good character (This would be only for people we know well)
  • Must have Instructor Certification in ISC Control Points
  • Instructor experience (Black Belt  rank with minimum 20 years teaching experience)
  • Required to teach and explain  one control point.
  • Instructor Trainer Certification must be renewed annually. 
  • Instructor Trainer renewal is dependent upon attending a 1 day instructor training program at DTN Conference in Florida. 
  • Dr. Knight  is providing a special Conference fee.  In addition to being re-certified, you will have access to the entire conference.
  • The purpose of getting  together for a 1 day program is:
  • Bonding of instructors
  • Review the program (We do forget sometimes)
  • Discuss new applications and possible changes
  • Networking possibilities and exchange ideas
  • Actively training and Certifying either Basic or Instructor program.
