What we Teach
Go Ju Ryu Karate – Originated in Okinawa, Go Ju
literally means Hard Soft. It incorporates some harder
techniques like punches or kicks in with softer ones to redirect
an attackers force. Go Ju is one of the most dynamic and
effective fighting arts to date.
Tae Kwon Do - Originally from Korea, TKD is
practiced around the world now, and made its Olympic Debut in
the Seoul Olympics in 1988. Translated, Tae Kwon Do means hand
and foot method. Tae Kwon Do is known for its powerful kicks and
punches that can easily shatter thick boards.
Hap Ki Do - Hap Ki Do is also a Korean art. It
is considered more of a soft style. It has the punches and kicks
of Tae Kwon Do, but it also uses joint locks, arm bars and
takedowns to stop an opponent. Where Tae Kwon Do meets force
with force, Hap Ki Do, like Go Ju Ryu redirects the force
directed at it.
