 Sifu Jeff Jones is the owner and director of Tri-State Martial Arts Academy. Mr. Jones strives to provide an appreciation for the  traditional forms and ideologies within today’s martial arts. With over 20 years of training and experience, Mr. Jones instills in his students the value of utilizing their martial arts training  and   knowledge to better themselves and the community.

Mr. Jones is one of only a few instructors in the world to have  received full instructorship from Sifu Dan Inosanto in both Jeet Kune Do, Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipino Martial Arts. Mr. Jones is also an instructor and the state representative for the Thai Boxing Association of the USA, under Ajarn Chai Sirisute.

Mr. Jones has participated in numerous martial arts events and has been awarded many other prestigious certifications.

  • Full Instructor under Sifu Dan Inosanto in Jeet Kune Do / Jun Fan Gung Fu.
     
  • Full Instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Filipino Martial Arts
     
  • Level 4 Instructor in Maphilindo Silat under Guro Dan Inosanto.
     
  • Instructor and State  representative for the Thai Boxing Association of the USA, under Ajarn Chai Sirisute.
     
  • Instructor in Combat Submission Wrestling under Sensei Erik Paulson.
     
  • Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Jared Weiner.
     
  • 1996 - 2nd place in World Stickfighting Championships held in Carson, CA.
     
  • 1994 - Light Heavyweight Shootwrestling Champion, Inosanto Academy Shooto Championships.
     
  • 1992 - Undefeated Middleweight Muay Thai Champion, Northeast Region.
     
  • 1992 - 3rd Place in World Stickfighting Championships held in Manila, Philippines.
     
  • 1987 to 1991 - East Coast Undefeated Full Contact Stickfighting Champion.

 Tri-State Martial Arts offers a unique program in martial arts training. With an eclectic approach and a multi-cultural curriculum, we can provide a tailored training program to satisfy each student's individual needs.

Our goal is to develop the student physically, mentally and spiritually. As a result, students at Tri-State will have more energy, less stress, better focus, improved strength and a stronger sense of inner-self. In addition, Martial Arts training develops self-defense skills and is fun to learn.
